April Book Club

We've got two awesome but very different books for you this month. While both books take you on a fun, fast paced ride, that's about where the similarities end. However, we loved both of these books and think you will too!

1. Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple

I can't believe we haven't already told you guys about this book! It's been very popular - and for good reason. This novel is a quirky, fun ride with unforgettable characters (though not necessarily likable characters) and a unique plot. It isn't a traditional first person or third person read, which makes it all the more fun to experience. Grab your favorite drink, find a chair outside and relax with this book.

2.  I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes

Wow, this book is a long, twisty, edge of your seat read. The only reason I put it down was to go to sleep but I very well could've stayed up reading this well into the night. I Am Pilgrim is an extremely ambitious (and successful) novel that weaves together action, espionage, murder, politics, terrorism and some big life themes. Pick it up but don't expect to be able to put it down!
