Apple Picking + Pumpkin Patching

Apple picking and/or visiting a pumpkin patch is the quintessential fall activity. We decided to venture out to Harvest Moon Orchard in North Salem, NY. It was only about an hour drive outside the city. We woke up relatively early on a Saturday, grabbed our reserved Zipcar and headed on our way. What I particularly loved about Harvest Moon Orchard was the weekend Fall Festivals they have. It was a fun, lively atmosphere with great food (wood oven pizza! curly fries! apple cider doughnuts! pumpkin cheesecake!) and music. There were a ton of families there but even if you don't have little ones to bring, it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

P.S. These jeans? They're amazing if you're petite but also have hips.
